How to delete pages from a PDF

  1. Drop your PDF into the box above, or click Choose files. Every page appears as a preview.

  2. Click the bin under each page you want to remove. It's greyed out; click undo to keep it after all.

  3. The count above the previews shows how many pages stay and how many go.

  4. Click Save PDF and download the PDF without those pages.

Why delete pages from a PDF?

Exports and scans often carry pages nobody needs: blank backs of double-sided scans, cover sheets, terms and conditions, or pages with details you don't want to share. Removing them makes the document shorter and easier to read.

Forms and portals sometimes limit the number of pages or the file size; dropping unneeded pages helps with both.

Delete pages or split the PDF?

Deleting pages keeps one PDF, just without the pages you removed. The rest are copied exactly as they are, with text still selectable.

If you'd rather take a few pages out into a new file and keep the original whole, use Split PDF and pick those pages instead.

Is it safe?

Yes. Delete PDF Pages runs entirely in your browser. Your files are read and converted by your own device using built-in browser technology, so they are never uploaded to a server and nobody else can see them.

You can check this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab and convert a file. No upload requests are made.

Pages are removed in your browser; the PDF is never uploaded.

Files stay in this tab's memory only until you remove them or close the page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get a deleted page back?

Yes, until you save: click undo under the greyed-out page. The original file is never changed either.

Can I delete several pages at once?

Click the bin under each one; they're all removed when you save.

Does the file get smaller?

Usually, since the removed pages' text and images go with them. Images shared with pages you keep stay in the file.

Can I also reorder or rotate the remaining pages?

Yes, on the same previews: drag pages to reorder them and use the arrows to turn them.

Can I remove blank pages from a scan?

Yes. Blank backs of double-sided scans are easy to spot on the previews; click the bin under each and save.
