How to crop videos in bulk
Drop your videos into the box above, or click Choose files. MP4, MOV, WebM and MKV work, and photos can go in the same batch.
Pick the size: 1080×1920 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, 1080×1080 or 1080×1350 for posts, 1920×1080 or 1280×720 for widescreen, or your own.
Each video shows its first frame with a frame of that shape. Drag it to keep the person or subject in view; double-click to centre it again.
Click Crop videos. They're re-encoded one by one on your device; download them together as a ZIP.
Why crop videos to one size?
Reels, TikTok and Shorts are vertical, while cameras and screen recordings are usually landscape. Cropping to 9:16 fills the phone screen instead of leaving black bars, as long as the frame follows what matters.
A course, a product catalogue or a training set for a video model looks and works better when every clip has the same size. Doing it clip by clip in an editor takes ages.
What happens to each video
The largest part of the picture with the chosen shape is kept, where you placed the frame, and scaled to exactly the size you picked. Nothing is stretched or padded, and the whole length and the sound are kept.
Videos come out as MP4 (H.264 with AAC sound), which plays everywhere. Clips smaller than the target are enlarged to fit and may look soft; the result says so.
Is it safe?
Yes. Bulk Crop Video runs entirely in your browser. Your files are read and converted by your own device using built-in browser technology, so they are never uploaded to a server and nobody else can see them.
You can check this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab and convert a file. No upload requests are made.
Videos are processed by your browser's own media engine (WebCodecs), usually with hardware acceleration. Nothing is uploaded, which also makes the conversion start instantly, however big the file.
Files stay in this tab's memory only until you remove them or close the page.
Frequently Asked Questions
What size is best for Reels, TikTok and Shorts?
1080×1920 (9:16). For feed posts, 1080×1350 (4:5) takes the most room on Instagram, and 1080×1080 is square.
Can I choose which part of each video is kept?
Yes. Each video shows its first frame with the crop; drag it, or select it and use the arrow keys, to keep the subject inside. The same position is used for the whole clip.
Can I crop photos and videos together?
Yes. Add both to the same batch, for a video model's training set or an Instagram carousel: every file comes out at the same size, videos as MP4 and photos in the format you choose.
Is the sound kept?
Yes. The sound is kept as it is when it's already AAC, and re-encoded to AAC otherwise.
Does it cut the length too?
No, the whole video is kept. Use the Video cutter to keep a part of a clip.
Is there a size limit?
Each video can be up to 1 GB. Files are read from disk in pieces, so they don't need to fit in memory, but very long videos take longer on slower devices.
